All teams are required to secure sponsorships prior to the beginning of the KYB
season. Sponsorship donations are vital to KYB. They help offset the cost
of facility rentals, equipment, insurance, awards, officials, and basketballs; however,
most importantly, sponsor donations enable us to minimize registration fees. Katy
Youth Basketball is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, our Tax Exemption # is
76-0239807.
Katy Youth Basketball thanks all of the sponsoring patrons both past and present.
Your contributions are a tremendous help in allowing us to provide a program accessible
to everyone.
Team Sponsorship
KYB will accept Sponsorship donations anytime during our season; however,
team sponsorship must be received before uniforms are distributed. In order
for the sponsor name to be on the jersey prior to uniform distribution, the donations
should be received by Katy Youth Basketball on or before December 15th. If you know
that the check will be received after the December 15th deadline, please email the
Vice President of Services, and the KYB Marketing Manager to get proper instructions
for sponsorship printing.
If donations are received after that date, the team mom/dad will need to pick up
the uniforms after the first game and have them printed before the next game.
Specific instructions regarding where to deliver/pick-up jerseys will be posted
on the website in January.
Finding a Sponsor
Finding a sponsor for your team is generally very easy. Here are just a couple of
suggestions
- Talk with your parents about sponsoring your team. If one of the parents has a
business that would like to sponsor your team, terrific; however, it's not necessary
that a business sponsor a team. We've had parents in the past sponsor teams and
have their names or a slogan put on the back of the jerseys (e.g., "God Bless America",
"Play Like a Champion", "Leave It on the Floor", etc.)
- Check to see if your employer or the employer of your assistant coach/team mom
will provide financial support to non-profits in which their employees volunteer.
If they do then please complete the necessary paper work so KYB can benefit. If
you're not sure if your employer has such a volunteer program, please check with
your Community Relations or Human Resources departments.
IMPORTANT: At a minimum, Sponsor must list the Child's or Coach's
name on the check. This is the only link to the appropriate team. Division, League
and Team Name are also very helpful, if available.
Give as you Shop!

Card by filling out the application available at the Randall's Courtesy Booth or
