KYB provides a drafted and non-drafted basketball program open to all students residing within the Katy ISD boundaries who are 6 years of age but not older than 13 years of age by September 1, 2009.

The League is divided into divisions based on gender and age.

Drafted Teams are formed in October and based on the KYB Tryout. KYB encourages all players to participate in the Tryouts.

Non-drafted teams are formed in November. KYB works hard to form non-drafted teams that have equal ability.
