Cost:
$80 for the first child in a family
$60 for each additional child in the family

The registration fee covers coordinated jersey & shorts (please bring player for proper fitting) and individual & team pictures.

Register early! Facility availability may necessitate limitation of league size in certain age groups. Applicants will be admitted to our program on a first come, first served basis.

Registration for KYB is open to KISD residents only.

Registration Requirements:

• Player Registration form: Partially completed registration forms will be available at the registration event for players returning from last year.
• Medical Release and Parental Consent form: If a parent or legal guardian is not available at registration, please download the KYB Medical Consent-Release Form, print out and sign the form and send it with whomever registers your child.
• Proof of Age: If the child did not play in KYB last year, then please bring a birth certificate so that we can verify the child's age.

Age Groups:

The player's date of birth is used as the sole factor in determining their division. The table below will be the age brackets used for the 2008-2009 season.

Rookies: Play in a division with two years combined.

Girls: Freshman & Sophomore Girls play in a combined division.

Girls: Junior & Senior Girls play in a combined division.

Collegiate: Play in a division with two years combined. Children who are selected to play on their Junior High Basketball Team are ineligible to play for Katy Youth Basketball.

Refund Policy

Last day for drafted player full refund: Friday, October 17, 2008
Last day for non-drafted player full refund: Wednesday, November 5, 2008
Last day for collegiate player full refund: Saturday, November 22, 2008
Last day for 50% refund (all players): Sunday, January 4, 2009
As of Monday, January 5, 2009: no refunds
